"A plain canvas is a visual invitation full of possibilities. I find comfort in the idea that it is up to the pencil holder to create a piece that represents their background, their beliefs, their opinions, and their overall story."

Hi, I'm Angelina. I'm currently a high school student hoping to promote my artwork and someday make a profit off of my skills. I've always been surrounded by art, my earliest memory being that of my grandmother's oil paintings that covered every inch of her apartment walls. Only later did I find out that she was the face behind the designs.

I believe I've always had a special ability for all crafts, drawing above all else. At 9 years old, I started taking advantage of my abilities, watching video after video, consuming all the knowledge I could, and later applying this on paper. My first piece in the class was a black and white picture of a dog. I remember everyone being so proud of it, myself included.

For a few years, I took pride in calling myself a 'self-taught' artist. Though I was able to develop my skills significantly on my own, I realized that having some sort of mentor wouldn't undervalue my natural gifts. It actually helped to expand my horizons, providing me with different perspectives on how I can improve my drawings, and inspiring me with the growth I witness every day when I walk into the studio.

My goal with this website is to not only make a profit but to visually represent the importance of patience and persistence, and what we can achieve with long-term commitment to our passions.
